I fully subscribe to the goals of IAC but not the mode of operandi either by Annaji or Arvind whom I think are equally intransigent and irrational. I have no doubt that an effective anticorruption law is the first and foremost requirement of this country. But, are we going to get one by starving at Jantar Mandir? Are we going to get it by standing for elections? My answer is no for both. The first and foremost need is to build an organizational base. You cant build a base with self assuming leaders who build firewalls and never bother to reply. Either they or a system must be available to interact with genuine supporters with an open mind. I prefer to keep away from an organization that firewalls my genuine queries. That is my minimum requirement to be involved in any organization, however lofty their proposed intentions may be.
