Our Netas have used 'Anna andolan' a great deal in thier favour by pushing through the message that parliament and constitution is supreme. They know they cannot command respect so they are demanding it in name of democracy ..Anna ji we cannot expect change from current generation of netas ...its like gandhiji wanted administrative reforms under british rule ..need to go all out once and for all ..Change doesn't sell soft nut a very hard way !!!
I have felt that with small and multiple challenges to government we will only give them buffer to strengthen and develop excape bunkers. Like Samuel adams said - " If people fear govt then its anarchy and when govt fear people then its democracy. Govt by harping on supremacy of sansad and constitution is actually trying to intimidate people.
Will end with Henry Patrick line " Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death! "
