Thanks for your positive response, and kind words.

I was not exactly critical of your idea that Anna should form a political party, though I deliberately sounded so, because I wanted us to think about the consequences of the act, and come up with some answers. You may notice that I had ended my post (where I didn't apparently agree that Anna should fight elections) with the following statement:

"I had, in fact, suggested some time back, a variant of this idea addressing these issues, which I'll explain after hearing the views of folks on my questions."

I was waiting to present my views at the right time, after listening to the views of those who have some views on this.

In fact, I'd expressed these views already in this forum, and even elsewhere. I even wrote to a few people like Dr. Abdul Kalam, much before Anna's movement had started; not sure if it caught Dr. Kalam's attention.
