Time and again one sees machine gun toting security around our politicians. More than often we also see entire roads blocked off to facilitate passage of the convoy of one VIP [the politician, of-course], along with pilot vehicles and a flotilla of cars with scant regard to the hardship faced by a common commuter.
While the politician claims to be a people's representative, what is the reason for the attending security? Their ego, perhaps.
