English translation (meaning) of our national anthem “Jana gana mana” goes as,

“Thou (you) are the ruler of the minds of all people,
Dispenser of India's destiny.
Thy (your) name rouses the hearts of Punjab, Sind,Gujarat and Maratha,
Of the Dravida and Orissa and Bengal;
It echoes in the hills of the Vindyas and Himalayas,
Mingles in the music of Jamuna and Ganges and is
Chanted by the waves of the Indian Sea.
They pray for thy (your) blessings and sing thy (your) praise.
The saving of all people waits in thy (your) hand,
Thou (YOU) dispenser of India's destiny.
Hail, Hail, Hail to thee (YOU).”

Isn’t it high time we should think about changing our old national anthem to something that goes with to today’s context??? Something as below….

"You are a good scamster,
Looting your own nation...
Pick urself up,
Dust urself off (the spits)
Back in the saddle..
You're on the front page (of news),
Everyone's watching,
People are raising their expectations (everyday- OF COURSE!!)
Go on and loot them (No don’t give up EVER!!)...

Yes!! I know, you guessed the tune for it, Shakira’s WAKA WAKA song tune (listen to the song now, you wonder that, this lyric fits so nicely into the tune- Fascinating song Shakira!!)…

By the way… I ain’t quite sure of, who is that “THOU (as in ‘YOU’)” in the original “jana gana” lyrics, did Mr. Tagore refer to.
But, in my lyrics, “YOU” I refer to the ministers and bureaucrats (OF COURSE!!)
