Smile Quality people and quality leaders

At present our electoral system is so heavily loaded in favour of money wielding persons that it is well-nigh impossible for quality people to surface. And if they will not surface, we will not be able to elect them. That is why we have to target electoral system after we have tackled corruption. Baba Ramdev has done some spadework. Hope it works. Then perhaps we shall have some good leaders. But then, again, the responsibility of keeping leaders under check will be ours. We have to stop being sycophantic. We too easily begin to kowtow before those who command power and money. For that we need to change our own character as well. We must learn to differentiate between need and greed. We do not really need too much to lead a normal human life. This realization is necessary for making life less complex. We have to create a better society, and from there we shall have better people, better leaders. We say 'man is a social animal'. What will remain of him if we remove the adjective 'social'? "Man is an animal'. Since we are engaged in quality discussion, I thought it advisable to say all this.
