Talking India against corruption

Corruption has become so ingrained in the Indian governance system that even though the supreme court has become active and even Central Ministers and the Chief Ministers have been charged and the TV channels day in and day out are full of reports and actions . However, it appears that these are mere eyewashes. Were it not so there would not have been the paradox of this activity and absolutely no impact on the behaviour and action of those government functoinaries who are in daily contact of the general public for their day to day requirements. Were the powers to be sincere in their aim of rooting out corruption they would immediately make their staff dealing with public feel that if such biggies could go to jail for corrupt practices they should change their modus operandi. However, at most levels the political bosses and their bueoracratic chamchas are going on as usual
Anna Hazare and the india against corruption are right in demanding efficient and uncorruptible lokpals who should be mandated not only to punish those guilty of taking bribes but also those who harass the general public by delaying normal works Unless the massage against corruption reaches the lowest level the general public will get no releif
